Athletic competition is an integral part of the educational experience at John Hancock Academy. Our athletes are taught teamwork, discipline, sacrifice, commitment and, above all, sportsmanship that reflects Christ. We strive to build character that will stand up to scrutiny not only on the field of play, but also in life. Coaches, athletes, teachers, parents and fans are expected to set an example of good sportsmanship by their demeanor, personal example and leadership at all times.

John Hancock Academy has been a member of the Georgia Independent School Association (GISA) for many years. We are also members of the Georgia Association of Private & Parochial Schools (GAPPS) and are enjoying the opportunities and challenges that this league is providing for our young people.>
